Help us spread the sparkle of kindness by sharing blessings in memory of Bellanne (Bel) Coonrod.  Bel's angelverary is coming up very soon, February 18th will mark 1 year since this amazing little girl earned her angel wings.  Over the past year we have been blessed by so many wonderful donors and sponsors.  With out your help we would not be able to spread her sparkle and bless families and children who battle diseases and face impairment challenges. 

Bellanne loved everything about life, she spread her kindness like glitter with so much sparkle and shine. In her short time here on Earth she made a huge impact on those who knew her and touched the lives of so many. Bel is a beautiful gracious, merciful and faithful child of God. Bel’s smile filled the darkest spaces and warmed the hearts of those she was around. She always included others and was caring, motivational, and inspirational to all that crossed her path.Bel faced all of life’s challenges including battling cancer and numerous other medical challenges with faith, hope, strength, courage and love.    Learn more all about Bel and her charity at www.bellannebutterflyblessings.org/about.html

Bellanne Butterfly Blessings has been created to continue her legacy of spreading kindness by sharing blessings!  Bellanne Butterfly Blessings is a charitable organization that is spreading kindness by sharing blessings, with the power of faith helping to provide strength, hope, courage and love to children and families effected by childhood illnesses, diseases or impairments. We provide care packages for newly diagnosed childhood cancer families, surprise packages for kiddos who are enduring lengthy hospital stays, as well as a small package of hope to families who have medically lost a child.  We also support several camps that focus on children fighting cancer and physical impairments.
We would love to have you join our team in helping spread kindness by share blessings to these families.  With your support we are able to provide more care packages to families, send boxes of hope to children who are in the hospital and support camps that are giving kids the courage to keep fighting.

The events we have planned so far for 2019 are Go Gold on the Green Golf Tournament in September, Jingle Bel Dash of Hope in December, we are in the process of planning an additional sportsman event and will release those details soon.

]]><![CDATA[Good people with big hearts]]>Fri, 15 Feb 2019 18:31:33 GMThttps://www.bellannebutterflyblessings.org/blog/good-people-with-big-heartsWe went hunting for deals on bears today and did we ever find some deals!  Since yesterday was Valentines Day all the holiday items were half off so we took advantage of this great deal.  Not only did we find some great prices but we also found some amazing strangers who blessed us.  At our first stop we had several people ask why we were getting a cart full of bears and this served as a great chance to tell about Bellanne Butterfly Blessings but best of all we got to share Bel's story with others.  Also a couple at the check out next to us helped pay for part of our bears which was a huge shock and wonderful blessings.   
The next stop we found every bear possible and placed it in the cart.  As we are checking out a gentleman behind us asks if Clar just loves bears.  So we explain we are buying the bears for our charity to give to Cook Children's because every child who is admitted to the hospital get a bear.  The gentleman pauses for a bit and mentions that his grandchild has been to Cook Children's before and chuckles at how much Clar is enjoying helping.  The next thing I know he offers to pay for all the bears!  What a kind gesture and wonderful blessings!  There is no doubt Bel is busy spreading her sparkle and love!  
As we headed home with a truck full of bears it is so great to know there are good people in this world who have big hearts and share their love as well as blessings with others.  Kindness if everywhere!

]]><![CDATA[Jingle Bel Dash of Hope]]>Sat, 08 Dec 2018 08:00:00 GMThttps://www.bellannebutterflyblessings.org/blog/jingle-bel-dash-of-hopeThe weather may not have fully cooperated with us but for our first run it was a great success with the 85 participants registered, 11 wonderful sponsors and numerous volunteers we had a jingle of a good time!  Despite the cold and rain we had out 30 runners show up and give it their all!  We can't wait to do this event again next year!  Thank you so much to everyone that made it a success!

Thanks to all to donations and sponsorships we were able deliver a total of 83 birthday boxes in celebration of Bel's Birthday!  59 of those boxes were delivered to the Hematology Oncology floor at Cook Children's and 24 were delivered to Texas Scottish Rite.
